What is the difference between a scale with a handle and one without?

A scale without a handle typically measures through four foot electrodes, making it suitable for everyday weight and body composition tracking.

Our handle-equipped scales use dual-frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis (DF-BIA) and eight hand-and-foot electrodes for a more complete whole-body analysis. They also provide segmental data for your arms, legs, and torso, along with 50 body composition metrics, including body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, body water, protein, and more.
